Ministry Letter

Dear family,

Boun Giorno! I just returned from Italy where I have ministered for the last two weeks. First, to Porto Mantovano, where a new work is beginning through Andrea and Emmanuela Artioli. I'm on the advisory board for Coram Deo, the new ministry of church planting and publishing that Andrea is beginning. What a great time we had with this new church of about 25 believers! I spoke in a conference, in the regular church meetings, and for an evangelistic gathering in a Montova theatre. We hope to publish Purusing God in Italian this fall, Lord willing. The translation has already been made. Please pray for this solid, yet brand new, work. And if you have extra funds and wish to support a good ministry in a country which is only 6 tenths of a percent evangelical, please let me know.

From Porto Mantovano, I took a late night ride with my interpreter to Milan. Here I stayed with my former assistant Jim Albright and his wife Karen. They are doing a wonderful job with The International Church of Milan. It has now grown to about 100 participants in two locations. They are hopeful of perhaps four locations in the future to meet the needs. Of course, transportation in a large city demands such innovation. Some of the staff is working future impact with Italians themselves while devoting themselves to the church as leaders for now. I was privileged to speak to the church and to discuss strategy and plans with the staff. I also through the Frisbee with students from the church in their regular outreach on the mall of the great castle in Milan. The church enjoys glorifying God with several cultures represented each week, but the common language is English. Please pray for this work.

But now I am home, and there is SO much to do to catch up! We are working on book and CD projects in hopes of getting a lot done before I leave for Greece, Romania and Moldova this June. Please keep us in your prayers. We're going to be working additional nights on these projects because we want to get these next books out as soon as possible.

Thanks for your help, prayers and support for this work. God is blessing. Thankfully, we know something of the movement of His Spirit in what we do. We owe Him everything.

With joy,

Jim Elliff
